I didn't pay attention to the advertised size when I bought it. The ball is tiny, it fits in the palm of my hand. I wouldn't pay more than $3 for this at a store let alone $10 online it was my fault although I saw 'playground ball' and thought it was a bouncer type ball other than that it's good quality and a kid playing dinosaur love will be very happy with it.

This is our second purchase of a Crocodile Creek ball (the first was a hedgehog pattern for our niece) a few years ago. We love these balls because they are great quality and small for little hands. Our 18 month old can pick up this ball and throw it much easier than some of the larger balls we have. The patterns are just adorable! They are durable and hold air for a long time. We didn't have to refill once!

This ball was much smaller than the Playground Ball. We were surprised at the size and thought it needed to be inflated. I inflated it with a ball pump but it became erratic. He jumped in unexpected directions. Within a day it cracked. So don't take it if you want a cue ball sized ball. As with a smaller ball, this should be fine. Don't pump it up. I am giving this ball one star because it cannot be called a cue ball without emphasizing that it is SMALL.

Sharks are so realistic and the colors are perfect. Very pretty. Live looks a lot better. Much better than I imagined. The ball is small but I read the reviews and knew it was small. It wasn't inflated as much as it should have been, but I'll let my son-in-law take care of that. The ball is perfect for my 2 year old grandson. He loves sharks so this is the perfect gift for him. I think everyone, young and old, will enjoy playing with this ball or using it for therapy. I recommend this ball.

I bought this ball to replace another ball we received (green in the picture). I was about to get another green ball the same as the one we got before but it wasn't available. Revane suggested the shark ball and others, so I chose the shark ball. I was expecting it to be the same size as it was the same price as the other ball we replaced.
