Elevates Your Car Experience

This dashcam elevated my in-car experience with its high-quality video and backlit display. Through trial and error, I found that the best place to mount it was on my windshield. The footage was crystal clear and the camera captured everything from license plates to road signs. Unfortunately, the only downside is that the audio quality could be better. Overall, I'm happy with this electronics purchase and feel more secure on the road.

Decent starter camera, does not recognize license plate letters/numbers

I bought this Shopko Dash Cam for $49.99 and was very skeptical as there was no review anywhere on the internet. So I hope this review helps others. This camera is a very well designed DVR with easy to press buttons. Menu navigation is much easier than the G1W I had before. The mount is well designed but was very disappointed to find out it was a 1/8" plastic screw that actually screws into the camera, very cheap in my opinion. Makes beautiful videos. The battery does not charge or is insufficient.

Bought this camera for sale in Shopko. I've never owned a dash cam so I figured this would be a good entry level device. I installed it in my car and drove about an hour to check and charge the battery. When I brought it home to upload the video. I was impressed by the video. The downside I had was that the micro USB port is too close to the mount and presses against it, or you have to rotate it and mount it almost to the side of the window and then adjust the camera so it's straight.
