Not sure if glass is better

These plastic beakers and - cylinders are not sharp as in photographs under normal room lighting, probably white rather than clear. When filled with liquid, the actual number on the wall is a bit difficult to read. Not close to the glass I've used in real chemistry labs.

Pros
  • Applications: These cylinders and beakers are good for pilot projects, can be high temperature sterilized for reuse, are chemically resistant to most acids, alkalis and many common solvents
Cons
  • Not sure

Top price-performance ratio

It may not be professional laboratory material, but it is at I think the price is great. They're plastic, so their readings are likely more affected by temperature changes than glassware, but they're just what I needed for the rain sensor calibration tests I ran. For kitchen science or even use in class I would give them five stars. Two reviews (looks like the same reviewer posted twice under different names?) say they broke within three days. I don't know how they could be broken so easily…

Pros
  • Packaging: incl. 5 measuring cylinders 10/25/50/100/250 ml with 5 measuring cups 50/100/250/500/1000 ml
Cons
  • Out of fashion

Suitable for high school chemistry

I bought this set for home chemistry studies. Due to the fact that three clumsy people were just doing an introduction to chemistry, I didn't want a glass. They are not as quiet as foggy and difficult to read as some reviews say. As long as they work. Unfortunately 2 parts were torn. The 100 ml gradient cylinder is cracked along its entire length and can break off if force is applied. This does not affect use / no leakage. At 10ml there may be a crack or just a defect, but also no leak. Don't…

Pros
  • Clear scale: the beakers are equipped with a double-sided scale to make it easier for you to check. Clear scale for more accurate measurement
Cons
  • No productivity
