I hang one on the EDC case in my bag to remind myself that there are things that don't go to the airport. Then I put one on the outside of the bag so I can see that there is a cover inside that needs to be removed before I go to the airport. When I remove the case I add a second label so the outer label is back in place when I put it back in my bag.

I spent many years in the Air Force airline as the F-16 crew commander. We had these on planes. I put these on my 5th wheel for a count of 5 to make sure I attached and connected everything I needed. They help with the safety of my checklist. Note that I just couldn't get this thing to fly after removing the tabs.
