I ordered a 10-11, and it was overall true to size. On a thin ballerina, the leotard is not very tight, but snug enough to be worn to ballet class. The only area that was not flattering was under the arms. It seems like the leotard design may have left room across the chest for a bust, which was not needed for us. It is not double-lined, but the fabric is thick enough that it is not see-through. The back is very cute, and the sleeves add a nice bit of pretty to the front as well.
