I was trying to use this with Lenovo ThinkPad Pro Dock with two external monitors, one connected directly to the dock and the other using this adapter. It is difficult to display the monitor correctly, it constantly cut off or shifted half of the display. Eventually I swapped out the monitor cables and for some reason fixed the problem. I think it depends on the logical position of the monitor (1, 2, 3 in the display settings) whether it wants to work or not, because it absolutely didn't display properly on the center monitor while the external one did. Rebooted my laptop. The drivers do not start automatically after installation, I had to restart the program every time I restarted. I created a script to do this only on login. Now every time I move the mouse to the monitor with this adapter, I see two pointers and have to guess which one is correct. Also, the blue light filter I installed on my laptop doesn't get through this adapter (it works fine on my direct-connected monitor). In the end I gave up and decided to just use the old VGA I had lying around. Plug in my monitor and guess what, it works 100x better that way. I also tried the adapter plugged directly into my laptop and got almost the same results. Maybe it's just not compatible with a dual monitor setup (plus a laptop screen) or Lenovo products, idk, but it didn't work for me.
