Review on 🐱 L-Lysine Cat Chews – Immune and Respiratory Support Supplement – 60 Bite-Sized Chews (3.74oz) by Diane Willis

Revainrating 3 out of 5

My indoor cats love these gummies which also slow the spread of coughing from the mother cat to the kittens.

When a feral mother of 6 kittens started coughing, I gave her one of these and she stopped coughing immediately. I have given gummy bears to my house cats and they loved them too. I keep the bag on the kitchen counter so I don't forget to give this treat often. I like that the product is made in the USA, the company is based in Vermont. However the packaging needs to be redesigned or completely changed as the zippers do not "lock" and the product dries out which is uncomfortable for my cats. I bought more than 4 packs (because we travel with our cats and take them on vacation). ). I believe there were 6 bags but it could have been 5 although with 4 unopened and one opened which had expired product the order should have been 6 bags. I wish I knew they shouldn't be kept for more than a month or so. I gave the first packet to a feral mother cat and her four kittens to prevent the mother's virus from spreading to her kittens. I don't think any of them have contracted the virus because they are one year old now and the four who live near my house have no symptoms. I opened another pack two weeks ago and today the parts of the product are hard as stone and I have 4 more unopened packs, the product feels very hard. If they aren't rock hard when I open them I'll be surprised. I love this product and so do my cats but they dislike the rock hard texture of the products in the opened pack and spit them out. very good for them if they have a virus that is making them cough and "blink"), but you should take the fresh gummies out of the bag and put them in an airtight container. Manufacturer says $$ refunds are not possible because "bought a long time ago". There is no "Use By" date on the packaging. Sealable and the packaging is not durable. I bought this last year and haven't used the entire product because I was dying to try Pet Natural's Vermont-made product first.
