Work EXCELLENT. I use a heat gun and with practice I can get the right amount of heat to get the job done without damaging the shrink wrap. Would give it a '5' if the outer coating was a little stiffer and the 'waterproof' sealer flowed more evenly at each end. I do NOT recommend, depending on the "watertightness" of your connection, as the sealant inside the connector doesn't necessarily have enough to evenly flow around the cable insulation. I used replacement light straps on the bike so no real waterproofing is required. I used high quality tape (3M) around each connector (or combination of connectors) for added moisture protection and true physical protection - THE OUTER PLASTIC IS THIN ENOUGH and sometimes (somewhat) you could see and/or feel the onset of deterioration. this outer plastic. pictures below. Unfortunately I forgot to take a picture of the "impregnation" caulk which doesn't flow well.
