The tank mounts for this flashlight are not suitable for salt water. The coating peeled off the metal in less than a month, possibly contaminating the tank. Metal corrosion in an aquarium can kill corals and anemones. Programming for the lights works, but the buttons are fidgety. I left the light on at 55% power for a month and noticed the corals changing color. I intentionally put bleached pieces in to test it. The bubble anemones were still reaching for the light though, so I'm guessing they aren't very strong. You shouldn't run the light much above 50%. On most fires you will fry food 60/70%. In general, the spread is small, and there's definitely a disco effect when the lights don't blend together.
