I've definitely watched a lot of videos on how to take my time installing vinyl, turned out to be a great product, very easy to work with and good thickness.

Extremely thick for a vinyl sheet. 3m usually has very good vinyl, but that stuff doesn't even hold up. The glue on the back is very cheap, even if you take a heat gun it doesn't help much.

Supplied with torn edges. Not a problem for a full roll, but at the price of vinyl we shouldn't have that problem and we should be able to use every inch of it. The first two inches of vinyl were useless to us as they don't stick to anything that needs to be ripped apart.

I used this to cover the front bumper cover on my Focus RS. I can order another roll to make a car roof. The film is easy to use and looks very nice. The vinyl cuts very easily and I was able to quickly make a front bumper cover.

This is a pretty good film, I've used it on my car and it's held up pretty well for the few months that they've been installed. I was surprised when the weather went from hot to cold but still held. the best advice is patience and application of heat. no need for a heat gun, a hair dryer is fine. The material has a texture so if you want a smooth finish this is not the vinyl for you.

I attached the Epiq snap-on drawer handles to protect them. Snap-on makes a real carbon fiber set but it costs about $1500 so I picked the next best thing as real carbon fiber doesn't matter to me. Easy to stick, just peel and stick again. I was trying to redesign a box the other day and after a while it was REALLY there. It won't just loosen up over time like I expected. Product appears to be high quality original 3 meter vinyl. However, confusion arises as the sticker on the outside of the roll of VViViD says Vinyl 1080, which matches Revain's description, but says 3m 2080 on the vinyl backing. I don't know what to do about it. I've done some research and it's my impression that the 2080 has a clear top coat that you need to remove after installation, but I can't see it. Still 4 stars because of the opposite labeling.

THIS IS NOT 3M I'M RETURNING IT NOW DO NOT BUY IT I bought a "VVIVID" brand carbon fiber reel before trying to save a few bucks and it was total crap when i tried to use it. So I gave up and decided to spend the extra money on the 3M brand. It came in the same package, from the same "VVIVID" address, with the same "VVIVID" stickers. unbelievable that they get away with his FRAUD.

As others have said, very difficult to master. I tried to wrap the dash at work as I used to work a lot with vinyl. Unfortunately, this one has very little play and I kept getting blisters or kinks. I'm by no means a pro with this material, but I wouldn't recommend it to a layman for anything other than a perfectly smooth surface.
