Trailer Sides Bracket Corner Brackets Review

The brackets are heavy duty metal which is great. Unfortunately, as another reviewer wrote, the pieces don't form a 90 degree angle when snapped together as shown in the picture in the listing. I probably should have sent it back as defective but I was in a hurry and didn't want to wait for new parts. These are really good and strong mounts, but they don't work on 2x4 or 2x6 wood as shown by the manufacturer. Many said the holes weren't where thicker boards should be, I had to improvise a bit and found I could get them to work by putting one of the pieces between two boards I had tied together (see photo). As previously mentioned, the brackets are not properly bent. It only took me a few minutes to change them in a desktop vise. The most important thing to know is that they are NOT designed for 2x4 lumber (1.5" x 3.5"). When attaching to a 2x4, two major design flaws become apparent: 1) The hole pattern is too close to the corner.
