Review on Miele CM6150 Countertop Coffee Machine: Stylishly Efficient Lotus White Brewer by Jim Fuhrer

When it works it makes great coffee. Requires frequent maintenance - drain, clean, flush, fill. However, when something goes wrong with the machine, customer service becomes an ordeal. Totally disappointing wait times - I've never connected to a person in less than 15 minutes, average 30-40 minute wait. EVERY TIME. What if you've ever dealt with Miele Customer Service, you know it's always more than a phone call. After a few months of use, the coffee grinder stopped working. It took (literally) hours of phone calls to the service department (who was supposed to send an email to a team in New Jersey who didn't reply for days and couldn't get any further without that meaningless email); then i had to call the new department. order a replacement car; THEN I had to call another delivery department! I recently dropped a container of water on the trail to fill up at the sink. The plastic is broken. Now I have less than $100 (without the lid) and another 25 minutes to order a replacement. This product just isn't good enough to spend that kind of money for what you get and the ridiculous customer service tires you have to go through to get help. It shouldn't be that hard.
