Overheating and freezing due to a broken threaded hole in the fan bracket. Can not be used.
Computer freezes and needs to be cycled off and on again. This hasn't happened to me often since I've had it, but I haven't used it in months. Now when I try to use it daily I can't because it blocks for 30 minutes. . It seems to be temperature dependent so I opened it up to see if there was any dust build up around the fan. I found that the fan is not installed correctly, the screw hole is broken off from the MB. I went through the return period but it seems related to the repair. Can you suggest a solution?
