my graphics card (radeon rx550) supports 4k. The display cable supports 4k at 60 fps, which is not an option. However, I'm using 165 fps anyway, so due to the limitations of the 2GB graphics card and my cable I wouldn't be able to run 4k even if the monitor was actually 4k. Going from 720p 60 fps to 2k 165 fps was the best and it was a really good $350 buy. I am happy.
