I had already seen a few YouTube videos of the product so I basically knew what to expect. or almost. I ordered from another country and although it arrived well packaged in plastic bubble wrap, the inside of the box was a little torn in a few places. When I tried to pair the product with a standard 7 inch reflector I just couldn't do it. I couldn't figure out why as the diffuser was the right size. and then i got it. Since the box was damaged, there was a slim possibility that the support covers had bent (or at least that's what I wanted to believe) during the shipping and handling process. So I ran to my tool box, pulled out a pair of needle nose pliers and very carefully, using as little force as possible, adjusted the curved caps to actually let the diffuser in, and then held it shut as it should. The problem is solved. Even if 60w led lights don't burn strong enough to make them very useful. they can work. The 40-degree plastic honeycomb grille looks pretty flimsy, but it's also lightweight (which is a good thing). It concentrates light but also reduces brightness, and if used too close to an object or surface the shadow grid is clearly visible. All in all a decent product for enthusiasts on a budget.
