Predictably when I use this it works. The speed is too slow to be anything more than a leisurely exercise in the consistency of your swing. I got this for my son (little league) and it doesn't help to learn the consistent swing. Mostly because the tether fails and it is very difficult to keep using it without stopping, resetting the tether, etc. However, it acts as a deterrent. So you got it. But the anger made my son give it up. The end result is that it is not used and money/effort is wasted. It appears to be very durable, as the constant resetting and turning in one direction when it's not perfectly spinning around the bar suggests you'll be able to work with it for some time. I guess ours won't get used to learning long enough.
