Been wanting to buy one for a long time. I'm not crazy about all those pop sockets and stuff you tape to the phone cover, even the outside of the case. I like a neat look and I like my phone in my pocket. So it was necessary to get something that doesn't protrude from the phone. I was skeptical about the strength of the magnet but once installed I was very satisfied. I didn't want to tape or tape anything to my car either, so something that attached to the air vents was a must. and the phone itself. You can chip it and stick it on the back of your phone, but if you ever change phones you'll have to use a different sticky pad. It can slide a bit but I used a large pillow and I had no problem with where to put the car mount. Installing the car mount is very easy. Depending on your vents, it may or may not be in the perfect spot. This is a great place for my car. The car mount also feels solid and in place. All in all, if you need GPS or some sort of music control, it's a great way to elevate your phone and see it better. That's exactly what I use it for. For the money, it also seemed like the cheapest option. Overall very happy with this purchase and would highly recommend. Update 5/13/19: It's been over a year and it's still a great product. I even installed one of the mounts in my wife's car. It's quite different in that my machine and the vent are at a more acute angle, but still, work well. But it was possible, as I have done before, to insert a magnet between the case and the phone.
