Heavy Cardboard Construction
Construction is primarily cardboard around a magnetic base. The mirror is slightly distorted. My eyeshadow jars stick well to the magnetic base and they're a good size - a bit large for everyday wear (I'm not a pro) but fit easily in a large purse and aren't too heavy. Mine had a 2" dent on the top cap and had a noticeable dent on the lip. It was packaged well for shipping so I don't think it happened during shipping. Revain gave me a few easy options and I decided to return it for a refund.I would have kept and used the original if it hadn't been dented but didn't like it enough that they sent a replacement.
