Bought for a preschooler who needs to work on developing fine motor skills. Based on the photos, the beads should be 1 inch high/long. The oval beads are about 1" long, but the cubes, triangles, hexagons, etc appear to be 0.5" to 0.75" - much smaller than I expected. If you have a toddler, that's all putting it in your mouth can cause choking.They were on sale when I bought them (40% off) but even that seems overpriced compared to what you actually get.the preschooler loves using these beads to thread/play and loves to thread them again and again (rating was 3 stars) - but! I still think this set is overpriced for what you get.
