The Big Amusement Park set barely fit. The plate is thin, flexes, but if you place thick plates from the set around the perimeter, you get a more durable construction that is easily transferred from place to place.

Great size for my 3 year old. He enjoys building a garage for his Hot Wheel cars. I wouldn't say he's weak. It bends a bit as you can see in my video. This works great on a foam mat. Duplo parts work great on it and it's a great price! This only applies to the green base plate and is not supplied with other Duplo parts.

Bought 2 of these along with 2 regular sizes and glued them to a piece of plywood. The result is a 4x4 part, half duplo and half regular. This is a great base that is durable to place on rugs or anywhere. We thought about making it a table top but we tend to use it on the ground anyway so it can be easily mounted on a chart table or whatever if needed.

Much more than expected. I didn't read the dimensions, I just knew I needed a base! My 2.5 year old was so excited to play with his Lego sets after receiving this. It's a little on the fragile side. I would not recommend a child stepping on it while lying on the carpet. I can see it cracks slightly when stepped on on the carpet. This is perfect for what we wanted. I'm so glad it's big enough to fit more Duplo pieces. Ever since he got the base, he's been pretending to play more duplo.

When I read the reviews about it being thin I was worried at first but when I received it I found it was so thin like my Lego board when I was a kid 20 years ago. It's not flimsy by any means, just a bit flexible, which comes in handy when trying to rip off large "sex" chunks. Today my son was building on a slab and I was able to move the rather tall structure several times (with a little care) and had no problems. We built a wooden floor, a table and a fluffy rug - it worked well every time…
