This stuff works as shown in the picture. After three weeks of use in my densely populated African cichlid tank, the water was the clearest I have ever owned. Over the years, dirt accumulates in the substrate and in the decorations, which you can never completely remove even with a vacuum cleaner. After a nasty bacterial infection I vacuumed the substrate and started using this product. After three weeks, the water became crystal clear, as if they were floating in mid-air. Adding Flash is now part of my weekly water change. You will be amazed at how clean your substrate will be in a month.
