This batch of HC arrived bright green and healthy with healthy roots. Being a bit green myself, when they arrived I didn't even have a tank for them. I was ill prepared. So, if you want to start off on the right foot to get this relatively demanding little plant crawling across your substrate, follow these tips:(If starting a new tank only fill 3-4 inches with water and cycle before bringing home plants)Be prepared to transplant them when they arrive. Mine sat in a cool spot for 4 days until I…

Pros
  • Does not require additional CO2 supplementation
Cons
  • Plants may require special lighting setups that can be costly to install and maintain

Arrived in great condition, still monitoring it's growth

I got the product fast (as stated when in the order). The plant was very much alive all green and I did not find any snails. I have the Seachem Black Flourite and Fluval Plant and Shrimp Stratum as my base substrate on my new aquarium.Divided up the plant and planted into the substrate. The photo shows (in one spot) how it looked like after 1 week. It's been 2 weeks and I can't say if it is growing or not. Every now and then I would see stems floating and I would stick it back into the…

Save your money and don't buy!

Do not buy! Absolutely a waste of time and money! It's a nightmare! It will all die in 2 days or less! It will make a huge mess in your tank for you to clean up! There is no roots at all on the plants! They have a nasty jell that's all over the plants that you can't get off of all them! They also came with snails! If your lucky enough to get some the jell off the plants you then have to try and place each individual piece into your substrate! There is hundreds of individual little pieces! Good…

Pros
  • Maintains pH levels in the aquarium
Cons
  • Can be difficult to maintain a visually appealing aquarium while also promoting plant growth

Product is as Advertised

I purchased two cups of the dwarf baby tears. They arrived timely and were packed well. The actual plants were green & lush - looked exactly as the picture shown. As I washed and removed the gel, I did not find any worms, snails or bad extras. I am very pleased with the product so far and since they are very healthy, I do not perceive a problem with them flourishing in my tank. Because they are so well packed in the cup, I will be able to split them amongst my smaller tanks to start…

  • Some of the plants can be invasive and overtake other plants in the aquarium

The product came in about a week after the order was placed. Very speedy! When it got here everything looked great. Very healthy and green; looked just like the image provided in the thumbnail. The only issue was trying to get rid of all the gel that was on the bottom of the plant that kept it hydrated during transportation.

Cons
  • Plants may require frequent trimming, resulting in excess plant material that can disrupt the overall ecosystem

healthy plants arrived on time

Unlike the first seller who shipped mud.these were packaged nicely in some gel and stayed healthy and clean all the way into my tank. Good purchase

Great company and products

I have absolutely no complaints about the quality of the product. Every time I bought a plant culture dish from this company it arrived in a timely manner and the plants were clearly healthy, and their growth in the aquarium proved that. However, the sole complaint that I do have is the unrealistic shipping and handling fees. All of the culture dishes I have ever purchased came in a bundle, in one single box but I was charged an additional $4.99 per dish. That is the only reason I have to take…

Pros
  • Promotes the growth of beneficial bacteria
Cons
  • Can be challenging to properly propagate certain aquatic plant varieties

Looks are deceiving!

The plant arrived safe and sound and looked great! Opened the package and could not remove the gel applied to the underside of the moss. Directions were unreadable due to a saturation of liquid which stuck the page like glue and distorted the pages front and back. Soaked the moss over night in a separate bowl with my aquarium water and to no avail could not remove the gel. Finally with some patience removed 75% of the gel and placed in tank, after one full day of cycling the moss had broken…

Superb packaging on an excellent live product!

I ordered two of these for use in my community tank in their own small clear glass containers to be placed on the side of my 36 gallon bow front aquarium, the tank itself it rather deep and I wanted to provide some mid level foliage for my female betta to enjoy. These plants arrived bright and vibrantly alive even though our climate is now super high and it’d be easy to roast in route. Luckily the supplier took special care to include a heat reflective shield in the package and they look…

Great quality, could use more info

I love the quality of the plants, they arrived looking so health and fresh. The only thing I'd like to see more info on is 1) washing the plants to remove the gel, 2) separating the plants without damaging, and 3) knowing how much to separate the plants before planting. This was new to me, and I hope I didn't cause damage by separating them. It was also difficult to tell what a typical "bunch" looked like so to speak, knowing where 1 separate plant was versus the other (due to roots being…

Pros
  • Thrives in various lighting conditions
Cons
  • May require the use of special substrates to promote root growth and proper nutrient absorption

Highest quality baby tears that I've ever bought!

Received these a few days ago and was really impressed with the quality. These are by far the most pristine plants I have ever bought. The gel is a little bit of work to remove but it kept the plants extremely healthy upon arrival. These plants were densely planted in the 2 1/2 in. cup and I had a lot more than I expected. Love this plant and happy with my purchase.**** update plants grew very well but unfortunately became the focus for destruction for my new neon dwarf gourami.

Pros
  • Helps to reduce algae growth
Cons
  • Plants may require specific fertilizers or nutrients to thrive

Plant arrived looking very healthy

I ordered three plants from this seller, all arrived in good condition and very fast. This one is very healthy looking, bright green and very thick for a small plant. They package their plants really well, it is very hot right now and they put some kind of heat shield in the box. The plants were not wilted or damaged in any way when they arrived. I will update my review after a few months when I see how the plants do. I have not seen any pests in the plant samples when I was rinsing/planting…

Cons

mixture of dissolved mush and dried out residue

I had several plants in this order. Most of them red. SEveral of the containers the red plants were in had burst open, staining the postal package a very odd shade of neon red water (which also left a stained mess in my mailbox I still can't scrub out). The plants themselves were dissolved to mush. I tried to quarantine them in my small quarantine tank but they dissolved to nothing almost immediately, except for the plants that wer dried out almost completely from loack of moisture. Waste of…

Freshhhhhhhhh for my opinion

Great stuff so far. Came in alive and well. I just got it and put it in my tank which Im going to dry start so we will see how it goes otherwise.Obviously the price is "Meh", but your mainly paying to ship something that's alive. If you don't buy this plant your paying close to the same price and getting a not so healthy plant from a chain pet stores. This is a good buy so far. I'm happy.

Pros
  • Naturally regulates and purifies water quality
Cons
  • Can be difficult to keep algae under control without negatively impacting the health of the plants

Difficult to Grow good for me

It came in a gel that was clear which was pretty difficult to use since it did not come off completely and the clear gel was near invisible in the water. It did look amazing when I had it in my fishtank, but it never grew and it just stayed the same size. I had fertilizer and CO2 added to my tank weekly but I guess I just did it wrong since it never spread to the bottom of my tank. However, It was in perfect condition when it came in. It was very green and none of the babytears were dead. I…

Pros
  • Resilient and durable, even with novice care
Cons
  • Can require frequent water changes to maintain optimal conditions for plant growth

Beautiful, Green, Healthy!

I purchased 2 cups of the Dwarf Baby Tears and 1 cup of the Dwarf Grass - picture attached. They arrived looking great. Beautiful, green, no issues at all. The healthiest looking plants that I have received from any store on Revain. Looks great. I know the portions of Baby Tears in the picture looks a little off but that’s my doing. I have some larger clumps and small clumps and I did that on purpose. Everything looks great and I can’t wait to put them in my Crystal Red Shrimp tank. Thank you.

Pros
  • Nice and green. Can’t wait to plant them
Cons
  • It was much smaller than I thought and verdict is still out on if grows well.

Spent so much money to see it go to waste

I was so excited to receive this plant for my aquarium. I researched the care instructions and felt confident enough to order two cups. Arrived in good condition. On day one it looked great but after day three I saw my baby tears struggling. By day four I had to get it out of my tank, it was completely brown. I am not sure where I went wrong or if it was even me because I got the co2 and fertilizer for it along with the proper lighting and it still didn’t survive. Pretty disappointed I spent so

Pros
  • Pet Supplies
Cons
  • Certain plants may require specific lighting conditions to grow properly

This is the best aquarium plant seller!

I ordered this with two other plants and it arrived in perfect condition. It was the healthiest shipment of plants I've ever received. The only slight downside is the gel they use to hydrate it, but it wasn't a problem at all. I just filled a small bowl up with some tank water and pushed most of it off. After pulling apart and planting the rest of the gel came off in the tank. It just took a quick siphon run over to get it all out. This is by far the best order of aquarium plants I've made.

Pros
  • Live Plants
Cons
  • Can be a challenge to navigate for beginner aquarium enthusiasts

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Tricky aquarium plant. Not for beginners

I recommend doing some research on Dwarf Tears aquarium plant. It's difficult to get it to stay and grow on the bottom, many websites recommend fertilizer and specific "aquarium soil"One package came dead, but seller is sending a replacement. The ferns are great. Easy to grow and root on the bottom.

Pros
  • Low maintenance compared to other plants
Cons
  • Plants can be sensitive to temperature changes and sudden fluctuations

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Carrier was not good

Plant came dead and the temperature was soaring at 78f at most and 64f at the lowest but it still came dead and rotting, knowing there's no way I could help it.

Pros
  • Can be easily combined with other aquarium plants
Cons
  • Can be challenging to maintain optimal water conditions while also promoting plant growth
