It came in a gel that was clear which was pretty difficult to use since it did not come off completely and the clear gel was near invisible in the water. It did look amazing when I had it in my fishtank, but it never grew and it just stayed the same size. I had fertilizer and CO2 added to my tank weekly but I guess I just did it wrong since it never spread to the bottom of my tank. However, It was in perfect condition when it came in. It was very green and none of the babytears were dead. I would recommend this to a professional tank scapist though since it is very difficult to grow.
