TECKWRAP 11 Review

The product I received DOES NOT have an actual Teckwrap paper backing as shown in the photos. The backing is a regular square grid pattern. I ordered carbon fiber vinyl from the same seller and it had real paper on it. I don't know what's up with the Eagle Marts chrome but beware it might not be a real deal.

This was for a craft project. This Tecwrap was the only part of the DIY project that worked. This was done for a mirror effect on my wall and other items attached to the packaging. The smells from the other parts were unbearable and I took it apart. The foil is still sticking and there are no odors to choke me. This is the second time I buy this product. I've used it for various small projects but the most important is my car. First thing I did was put this red mirrored vinyl on the car nameplate and it looks amazing! Then I had these protective covers that were the same color but faded to orange within a month in the sun. I took some of that vinyl and put it on a rim protector over 4 months ago and they still shine (after washing lol) the exact same red mirror chrome when I bought them.

I used this vinyl to color the DJI Mavic Air landing skids. The goal was to lift the drone out of the sky. Black plastic slides. The front and sides are flat, no problem, but the back is "open" and a bit more difficult, requiring a very fine cut to get a good result - the more complex the shape, the harder it is to make cutouts . I find it funny that some people have bad reviews for this product. some say it doesn't stick. Some say other negative things. OK, I have news for you. When I first used this I got embarrassed and complained that it wasn't sticky. I'm so glad I read the other reviews and actually read the product description! I cut the vinyl with the Silhouette Cameo and it cut perfectly. NO, it's not sticky when you first peel it off the backing, but that's because it's designed to fit in cars and large surfaces.
