This is a regular timer - it works and does its job very well, but there are a few annoying things that make me give it almost 2 stars.1. It squeaked a lot - squeaked every time the button was pressed (set timer for 30 minutes? => 30 beeps). The alarm clock, when it goes off, is too cheeky and persistent. Kinda annoying.2. It's too fragile and the magnet is too weak. We bought two and due to the old school weak magnet, not a rare earth metal, real care is needed to keep them secure. We ended up dropping them and it doesn't take much to break them. To keep her going, you really need to babysit her. Overall, they're a great example of why buying something cheap often doesn't save you money.
