Review on Boraam 36824 Stool 24 Inch Cappuccino by Sherri Rivera

Bought to use as a library staircase to get to the top shelves etc. Nice little object - maybe my husband is too small to use it for projects but just right for me. There were some problems with assembly. All instructions are pictorial with very little text guidance, although this in itself is not a major issue as the pics are quite clear and understandable. One of the things we need to guess is which pieces of hardware to use in each step. The instructions use letters to identify them, but the hardware itself is not identified by letters but by other alphanumeric codes. One of the pre-bolted wooden frame pieces was crooked, so I was afraid it would be crooked, but it worked. Let's see if that lasts. The small wooden plugs covering the screw holes will not stay in the screw holes. They need to be glued on with some kind of glue, but they have been painted and coated where they meet the frame, so I suspect it will be difficult to get the glue right. Try hot glue first! The biggest problem we had to solve was that the pre-drilled starting holes in the big dowel were (a) too small and (b) misaligned. We had to use a drill to install one screw and then drill a second starting hole for the second screw. Other than that, the device feels solid and definitely nice to look at.
