Stool is good but be prepared to poke some holes

I received this stool to replace the step stool my toddler used to get to the sink. The step stool kept slipping on the floor, but I wanted something more stable. This works great, he can climb the bottom 2 steps and kneel on the top one with no problem reaching the sink. Or he sits on the top step and brushes his teeth etc. BUT the pre-drilled holes for mounting the bottom of the stool don't line up properly. All parts are included but when trying to line up the holes for mounting the bottom…

Very good quality, some assembly problems

This stool/ladder stool is very stable. This is 100% natural wood, not composite board. It looks good, blends in with existing furniture and is very stable as a stool and stepladder. A small downside is that when you put the fairing on, some of it gets caught in the screw mounts, making it difficult to insert the screws. To avoid this, always put screws in the threaded hole before assembling the chair to clean the steps. Then, when space is limited during actual assembly, the screws come in…

Can't say enough good things about this stool.

We've had this stool for 5 months now and I'm so glad I bought it! It sat in my shopping cart for about 3 weeks wondering if I wanted it. I'm so glad I made the purchase. It is a solid wood construction. It moves easily around the kitchen without being too heavy for my 5 year old to lift to move across the carpet. It was easy to construct, although I had 2 screws that I couldn't get all the way in because of the corner. This was not a hazard or problem when they were only screwed in 3/4 and it…

Beautiful with some issues

Bought to use as a library staircase to get to the top shelves etc. Nice little object - maybe my husband is too small to use it for projects but just right for me. There were some problems with assembly. All instructions are pictorial with very little text guidance, although this in itself is not a major issue as the pics are quite clear and understandable. One of the things we need to guess is which pieces of hardware to use in each step. The instructions use letters to identify them, but the

Nicely done. attractive. Secure. and easy to assemble

I bought this stool despite some very critical reviews on this site. All criticism was related to the assembly and the lack of properly pre-drilled holes. I received mine just before noon today and the first thing I would like to highlight is the quality of the shipping packaging. The stool is made in Vietnam. The quality is excellent! The shipping packaging was the best I have ever seen. Styrofoam padding, Styrofoam sheets, plastic wrap and heavily glued and glued cardboard. The hardware was…
