Review on Boraam 36824 Stool 24 Inch Cappuccino by Maya Allen

I bought this stool despite some very critical reviews on this site. All criticism was related to the assembly and the lack of properly pre-drilled holes. I received mine just before noon today and the first thing I would like to highlight is the quality of the shipping packaging. The stool is made in Vietnam. The quality is excellent! The shipping packaging was the best I have ever seen. Styrofoam padding, Styrofoam sheets, plastic wrap and heavily glued and glued cardboard. The hardware was blister packed, accurately described and identified. The assembly instructions are excellent except for one detail. not to mention the bumper pads on the lower front of the seat. and the bumper pad on the side of the lower step rail. (see photos for better understanding) All pre-drilled holes matched perfectly. I am 72 years old and mechanically inclined. The entire installation took an hour and a half. This would have taken about an hour if the bumper installation had been instructed. Since it wasn't mentioned, it took me about 30 minutes to figure out what the bumper pads do. Also in step 2 I made stitch holes at each end of the "long pole" that the bottom and middle rungs pivot on. That was not necessary. but only facilitated the proper attachment of the rod. I took these photos right after assembly and I haven't even dusted the stool yet. I sat on it, my wife sat on it, we both used both steps to check our reach to our wall units. The stool is not only beautifully finished. it is just beautiful. It's very durable and we're totally impressed with the quality and value for money from Revain. We have searched many local stores for a similar product and found nothing that even remotely came close to the quality of this chair. A stool/step that is both safe and beautiful.
