After heavy rain and even hail, they work great. They look great and seem to be made to last (update in 6 months). We tried different brands of rope light but they were too thick and wouldn't stay in place without heavy hooks, or they were the wrong color. Not really "warm white". They have a beautiful color and are very bright, which is perfect for our garden. The flat LED strip is easy to mount anywhere, fits perfectly on the outward-facing thin side of the paving stone and provides ambient light along the perimeter fence. The only thing holding it in place is gravity and the rocks in our landscape. No hooks or fasteners needed. Safe and comfortable for kids. Other brands have remote control functions that change color. I just wanted something modern, solid and simple lighting system, because the more detail the more likely something will go wrong, they are simple and stylish, just what I was looking for.
