I bought these for better lighting when cross stitching. The bonus was they have a raise too! PRO: They work great and when the batteries are fresh they are super bright! I like that they have different levels of magnification, or you can choose not to increase the magnification. CONS: Since I bought them to cross-stitch (which I like to do for a long time sometimes), the glasses get very heavy on my nose. It won't be long before this happens. The rubber grips on the nose bridges are also very grippy, which is good because they don't slip off as the goggles can get heavy after a small bump. The first night I put them on I covered my nose with band-aids to give her a break and created a barrier between the skin and the rubber. GENERAL: Great glasses! Great light color! But tends to get heavy on my nose.
