Very useful. I used them to make some adjustable 550 length strings for camping. I've used them to hang a water bladder on a tree, on a clothesline, or as a tarp or protective tape. They start to slip under a very heavy load (25-30 lbs) but hold up better if you use a knot or plastic stopper. They're very difficult (nearly impossible) to take apart once you've got the two pieces together, so make sure you pick the correct chord length before snapping the wheel into place. All in all it was exactly what I was looking for and I was surprised by its strength.
