2 years Great for external SSDs

I bought this product in November 2019, just came back as I'm building my own gaming PC and planning to get an internal TLC SSD grow and I wanted to see what type it is. Aside from that, I've had this particular SDD for 2 years now. I have absolutely everything. I'm a content creator and a full time student so I have 7+ months of recorded streams, games, all my school work for 2 years + other various large files that I use for video editing. This external SSD is holding up great and has 178GB left. It also doesn't get hot at all, even when gaming, I have it next to my laptop's air vent which also heats it up, and it still works perfectly. In general, I don't play most games on high settings with the MX150 and Intel Core i5 8250u to assess the situation, but I'm pretty sure anything I do will do. this is going to be good. I've also dropped it from table height onto a wooden floor about 3-5 times (it bounced off things before hitting the floor) - even with that there was no data loss and it still works great. 100% recommended, especially for students. as I carried these in my backpack or bag and didn't have to worry about the disaster that happened to my previous external hard drive when I dropped it ONCE and lost everything mid-block :(.

Pros
  • Good thing
Cons
