This is the worst built in volume control you can buy. First off, the rear assembly is HUGE. It will not fit the standard electrical box as advertised and you will need to cut and modify each electrical box to fit. The second problem is that once installed and fixed with the screws provided, it becomes very difficult to move the slider up to increase the volume. The slider is easy to move when the device isn't installed, but what's the point? The front panel screws also have a metallic color that clearly doesn't harmonize with the white front panel. Were the included whitehead screws much more expensive? I don't normally write product reviews but this got me so frustrated when I wasted half a day installing it by a customer and then just uninstalled it and bought another Revain built in volume control. The product I bought to replace that useless volume control is the AudioSource AE100VC, which is a much better design and comes with three different colored bezels and matching colored screws.
