A small sauce jar helps limit calories but is big enough to add nice flavor. Lettuce on the bottom and this allowed me to keep the dry ingredients and a small dark chocolate appetizer on top without the lettuce getting soggy. I made salad a part of my life for lunch and lost 10 pounds. I'm not sure I could do it without these containers. The only downside is that they aren't very easy to clean, there's something about them, you can't just rinse them off, you really have to use soap, water and a sponge to wipe the bandage off of them, but that's minor.
