Review on Selle Anatomica X2 Black Silver by Marco Habersham

After riding one of these on a friend's bike I decided to get one for my passenger (pictured). This thing is also really practical before every warm-up time! Comfort in the saddle is subjective, as everyone's body geometry is different. It's always better if you can try before you buy. Due to some negative reviews I am concerned about the durability of this saddle and will update the review if anything goes wrong in the future. I live in Oregon (so it rains a lot!) so I bought a waterproof kit and hope that with good care I can make it last longer. This version of the saddle is modular and you should be able to swap out the leather yourself if it wears out, but a leather replacement costs $125. Support says they expect you to go 3-5 years before needing to replace it. I hope this is my case. If so, then I'm a happy buyer. One final note: it's a bit heavy (around 420 grams) so not ideal for people who are weight conscious on their bikes. 2 years old and still excited. I haven't changed my skin yet. I wasn't too careful with riding in the rain etc either and it still holds up well. Very happy with it so far!
