Works better than expected. I have a tray in an aviary and was pleasantly surprised that I could attach it to the side. It's smaller than I expected, but it's my fault for not looking at the dimensions. However, I find that even with two cats I don't need a big one. I've been using this for a while now and don't experience the dirt build up between the screens that I've had with other shovels before. Plus it's cute.
