This ATF drain plug stuck right after the factory plug was removed. If you haven't opened that plug at all since owning the car. I highly recommend buying this as you will destroy the factory plug if you try to unplug it. Your socket only fits halfway into the factory plug. This aftermarket Dorman plug fits snugly into the outlet and is much easier to remove later. This product is suitable for 2004 Honda Accord EX V6 if you are interested. Honda makes it easy to drain and refill ATF. No messy sump to drop, gaskets or sump filter to replace. After refilling with genuine Honda ATF DW1 fluid you will notice that your shifts become smoother. The difference is noticeable. My ATF drain and refill had expired and I plan to do it again next year when I change my oil.
