UPDATE: It took me months to practice on both myself and my boyfriend and these nails don't last long. If all the starts match up and you get everything perfect, then they will last about a week. I only use this set now to burn through the product and then upgrade to quality acrylic. I'm tired of practicing for hours with a product that doesn't last long. Practice with the right stuff and don't buy from Revain unless it's a good quality branded item. Excellent kit. To achieve the desired result, you need to develop skills. I highly recommend buying this with the understanding that it will take at least 3 tries to find the method that works best for you and build on that. applies the gel to the mold and then applies it to the fingers. This method sucked for me because I didn't apply enough polygel and it was too thin. The third picture shows how clean my nails turned out after I removed the polygel by trimming off the excess length and then gently peeling it away from the nail bed. No damage :) The last photo is my second attempt which is way better! I used sticker molds. The quality is excellent. I don't like ombre colors as they change color depending on whether it's hot or cold, but that's a personal opinion. The only wish is that the set contains several colors of gel polish and another nail clipper for long nails. I also recommend buying a drill set. I got a cheap $10 from Walmart but it wasn't that effective for those fake nails. I buy a drill set and pour in gel polish in case friends want a different look.
