I have a Volvo and there is a weird cup holder that pulls out from the side of the radio (there are already two other cup holders in the center console). BTW I didn't want a tower in my car and this item is low enough to sit perfectly for hands free calls etc. If you like the mysterious extra third cup holder and hate stuff sticking to your dash or windshield then this holder is for you :)
