Absolutely perfect for music or phone calls. I was surprised at how much better fidelity and highs were than the twice the price Klipsch (the Klipsch's "burning in hours" didn't help). The Turtle Beach NLa headset features a superior boom microphone encased in a micro metal tube. It's an inexplicable shame that according to other reviewers, the insulation on the wire from the headphones to the remote was made of plastic, which in a year became brittle and then literally cracked and crumbled. The individual strands in the cable are a solid 20 gauge. I love the sound quality so much that I'm keeping the headset for home use after wrapping it in self-adhesive tape, especially near the control switch and headset. I could rip it apart, desolder the wires, and re-shrink it to get it right, but I don't want to risk ruining the phone's comfortable casing. Yes the cable looks terrible now but I don't want to stop using it. **It really is that good**. i have no pride but my ears don't care.
