Review on 🔌 SCOSCHE MagSafe Chargers Compatible MagicMount Car Mount Kit - Vent/Dash 4-in-1 (Model: MSHODVMPD20-SP) - Black by Chris Weber

Purchased directly from the manufacturer on their website. Have been using their magnetic mounts for years with great success. I was keen to use the magnetic charging capabilities of my iPhone 12 with this mount. Bought a MagSafe charger and MagSafe case from Apple. Plugged the MagSafe charger into the cigarette lighter adapter that comes with this mount and thought everything was fine. The phone felt very secure on the mount. But while driving, I noticed that my phone's battery percentage was decreasing instead of increasing. I called the manufacturer to fix the problem. The technology was pretty defensive and didn't allow for the possibility that their adapter wasn't providing enough power - there must be something wrong with me. Give up. Bought another adapter that claimed higher performance and tried it. It still doesn't load properly. I checked their website and found that this product is no longer listed. (Now they know it's not working properly? Of course they'll want to fix it when I call.) Called back - still very defensive. I must be doing something wrong. Asked if I'm using apps on my phone while charging. Do you mean like GPS?!?! Of course I use GPS while driving. I use the GPS on my phone when driving for years and it always manages to get more charge as long as I'm connected to the network. SOMETHING MUST BE WRONG WITH YOUR ADAPTER - IT DOESN'T DELIVER ENOUGH POWER. But I'm now a few days out of their "very generous" 60 day return window. Too bad. So disappointed in this charger/mount AND the company. Please spare yourself the headache!
