I've been using this brush for almost a year now and haven't had any of the bristle shedding issues others have mentioned. The photo shows how it was received. It removes most small scraps of paper; A few small ones remain and must be pierced with a sharp tool. I usually don't use a foam pad for this, but hold the stamp in my hand over the trash can. Sometimes simply tapping the brush on a stubborn little piece of paper stuck in the matrix is enough to dislodge it instead of brushing over it. It's not perfect, but it saves me time. I found another use for styrofoam. I spray my stamps with ink remover and brush off the rough side. Cleans them very well. would recommend.
