The most complicated stamps work with no problem

I started using die-cut intricate designs for my handmade postcards. I rarely did this before due to the time and effort I needed to remove leftover detail from a cut design. Now these days I use them without a second thought because that roller and foam pad make it easy to undress Chads. Just a quick brush stroke and then back again and they're all design free. I should have bought this many years ago!

It really works!

I was skeptical - I didn't realize that the bristles of the brushroll would actually penetrate the tiny holes in the matrix. But it is so. In most cases, the brush quickly removes any scraps of paper; sometimes there are a few pieces left that need extra rolling or I have to remove them with a pickaxe. That was my experience with the intricate 1 inch wide butterfly. On matrices with large holes, this brush easily ejects scraps of paper. It's a lot easier than using a pickaxe. Using this brush…

I wish I knew that sooner!

What a time and mess saver! I love complex stamps, but it can be a problem when paper gets stuck in the stamp. I seriously dug them all up with a sharp tool. This cleared the deletion in a few seconds. I only had to push out a stubborn piece of cardboard or two. I haven't used this to get real die cut pieces of paper because I don't usually need it. I mainly use thin Tim Holtz dies on a Vagabond 2 with a precision cutting insert so everything cuts very clean. The bristles are quite stiff so I…

But it doesn't work perfectly.

I've been using this brush for almost a year now and haven't had any of the bristle shedding issues others have mentioned. The photo shows how it was received. It removes most small scraps of paper; A few small ones remain and must be pierced with a sharp tool. I usually don't use a foam pad for this, but hold the stamp in my hand over the trash can. Sometimes simply tapping the brush on a stubborn little piece of paper stuck in the matrix is enough to dislodge it instead of brushing over it…
