It took me along time to finally make the transition from a moleskin notebook every year for bullet journaling to a travelers notebook. I was so nervous it wouldn't work out but this journal is a perfect investment. I can't imagine going back to use any other kind of notebook in the future. Its beautiful and very durable.

I use mine as a wallet with plenty of space to write and hold essential ID and information. It fits a Kawaco Sport pen perfectly, which is my pocket pen. The plastic inserts seem ok. haven't used them long enough to see if they get brittle. The craft paper book is VERY thick, and I removed it in favor of a "normal" grid book. This is a lovely little traveler's notebook at a steal of a price. It even comes packaged nicely in a cloth bag and a padded box with a sliding lid. It has plain, lined and kraft paper. Also a small plastic sleeve to hold small treasures (like a plastic pencil case, but very small.) I bought the passport size. I bought this for my grandson - he is going to be so pleased. I may buy one for myself. It is a bargain.

The Product is great. The security measures used for shipping were horrible. The box was no where near secure (see picture). It could have been slid open and stolen, slid closed and sent without the product. Horrible security measures. I gave four stars because I did recieve my product. What about the one who doesn't. The product itself looks great. I use it for a journal wallet. I also have extra card holders in it, that's why it looks thick. So far so good.

Ive been using this for several months now, and I can't say how happy I am with it. It's very strong, and sturdy. I just received this and WOW! Not only is the notebook of beautiful quality and smells like wonderful leather, but the packaging was lovely as well! The pages are really good quality and it is overall a very good journal. Lots of creative freedom. I recommend this journal. I got the smaller size and it is small but i like it because i can fit it easily in my purse/bag. I would suggest the larger size if you wanted more room to write and not as small and compact.

so, I looked at the demensions, that should have sunk in deeper. With that being said, because that is my fault, I really love the book. Its made well, with sections that can eventually be replaced. Got it for larp, returned it because it’s better for an office desk than for a romp in the woods. It doesn’t lay flat when open, so it’s especially awkward to hold open because it’s pocket sized.
