I ordered this filter to replace my old smelly filter. Easy to install, not flimsy or deformed during installation. The airflow was not affected. I think the reason most reviewers claim they have problems is due to improper installation and airflow direction. This is because most of the DYIs here are weekend warrior clowns with no knowledge of crafting jobs or how things really work, and they don't bother to read or understand instructions and labels on filters what they mean or aim for. They're also probably installing their home HVAC filters incorrectly. Filters + and quality. Recommended but expensive.
