I had to cut the grooves wider to fit my 1995 F150 bulb socket.
Totally unsuitable without modification. The distance between the protrusions to which the lamp body is attached was too small. I had to take a utility knife and shave about 1/16 inch off all 8 corners and even then it was a bit difficult to get the bulb in and lock it in place. Also this is on my 1995 F150, maybe in other years the cork part has different size tabs?
