My only complaint about the mirror is that the light isn't very bright. If the lamp is on or the mirrors are on, everything is fine. At the same time I had a mirror with a brighter light and if it was the only light source my eyes would see spots afterwards. So maybe too bright is not good for the eyes. I like the 8x magnification. The height above the vanity is good so you don't have to lean forward that much. Good value for money.
