Exactly as described. Well done and will get the job done. The quality seems to be very good. Should last a long time and is worth the money so as not to damage the pump.

A durable screen that will last forever but the openings are quite large. It filters out large contaminants, but not small ones. I plan to cover mine with a 1/4" thick hardware cloth to prevent pump clogging.

I use this at the beginning of the water intake from the Koi pond to the (above) external pond pump. It prevents coarse dirt from entering the suction tank or the pump. I have a sponge or brush on a pole that I will use to remove dirt stuck to the walls. While it works great.
