This camera has met my expectations well. I carry my camera in a belt holster 24/7. People who carry bulky multi-lens cameras don't usually carry them around erratically. Many of the best shots are taken when you least expect it, and in most landscape situations this camera will serve you well. It doesn't do very well in dynamic shots with limited lighting. I use this camera as a smartphone replacement. It has a very wide-angle lens and its telephoto lens is better than a smartphone. This camera is likely to be fragile, especially the lens shutter assembly. I would treat him well, and he should treat you the same way.
