Review on 🐢 Cesar Gourmet Wet Dog Food: 12-Tray Pack for Delectable Dining Experience by Andrew Dodd

Poor quality food good for canned food

I only fed this to my elderly foster dog because the rescuers gave it to me. I tried to switch the feed slowly, but the result was poor, so I kept feeding him for several months. I had to increase the number of trays I gave, also 6 a day, because my adopted child was losing weight like crazy. It was outrageously expensive! She was overweight and needed to lose about 3 pounds. (Ideal weight 13 pounds). The vet ruled out any health issues, gave me probiotics, and advised me to find better food. Now I feed Freshpet, it's expensive, but it costs me less compared to before! I feed 1/2 lb a day (servings are listed on the package like butter so just cut it up) and it's costing me $33-36 a month and she's maintaining a healthy weight. I think Cesar's must contain very low quality protein components that my adopted dog can't digest properly so he doesn't absorb the nutrients.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Negative impression
